¿Han pasado cuatro años desde el último disco de Hypocrisy? El tiempo vuela, la verdad. Bueno, es hora de remediar este abandono tan triste, y “A Taste of Extreme Divinity” es justo lo que nos ha recetado el médico.

Puedes no estar de acuerdo con esta hipérbole tan acentuada, pero este puede ser considerado el mejor disco de Hypocrisy. En este álbum, Hypocrisy ha conjuntado todas esos elementos que lo han hecho increíble, y los ha llevado a un nuevo nivel. El “death metal” es más death, el “melódico” es más melódico, todo es simplemente…mejor.

Si hubiese que criticar algo, sería que el disco resulta un poco “típico”, y que hay muchos “fadeouts”). Otra cosa es que la producción es típica de Tagtgren (la guitarra alta, muy definida, batería rápida y potente, la voz liderando y el bajo de fondo): no voy a quejarme en este aspecto. En definitiva: “A Taste of Extreme Divinity” nos proporciona muy buen material que seguro utilizan en los directos. Es uno de esos discos que SABES que vas a oír en directo. Se podría decir que el grupo se lo ha pasado bien grabándolo, y que se lo pasarán bien tocándolo en la gira, y que los fans se lo pasarán bien cantando sus canciones. ¡Envidio a todo aquel que pueda verlos en directo, de verdad!

Bueno, estimados segudores de Dama Descorazonada, quiero que ante todo sepáis que soy una chica muy aplicada, y que acabo de entrar de lleno en el horrible periodo de exámenes (vale, no empiezan hasta Febrero, pero tendré que estudiar!)
