Back In Time World Tour’.

From heavy grooving opening track 'Paradise Nox' (with a remarkably
sparkling vocal performance by new vocalist Marjan) through to the last
dying note of title track and rollercoaster ride 'Altitude', this monumental
album offers as diverse array of music that transcends the boundaries of
many heavy rock related genres. Short, compact, straightforward songs
coexist with intricate, multi-layered songs that take their time to draw to
a close. It makes for an album that is not so much a series of individual
songs, but much more a kind of organic entity: music and lyrics challenging
six gifted song writers in coming up with material to bring out the best in
each other, whichever shape or form it might take.
Jens: "We set out to write music that captures our hearts or imagination,
not necessarily songs that fit a typical format. We pretty much work as a
democracy, so from the 40 odd tracks we started out with, the selection that
made the cut is as thoroughbred an AUTUMN album as can be."

LACUNA COIL anuncia nuevo lanzamiento.
One of Italy’s greatest musical export, LACUNA COIL, have returned with the massively anticipated, new full-length release, Shallow Life, which is set for an April 21st North American release. The album was recorded with acclaimed producer Don Gilmore (Avril Lavigne, Linkin Park, Pearl Jam) at the famed NRG Studios in Los Angeles. This new effort is another huge step forward in the band’s continuous evolution and marks their first full-length since 2006’s Karmacode and promises to be well worth the wait. It has been years since an artist came along that could redefine a genre, but this group has the potential to do just that. This is the next big thing.
Fans can now rejoice as LACUNA COIL are looking to debut some new material on this spring’s “Music As A Weapon IV” festival. LACUNA COIL joins such hard rock titans as Disturbed and Killswitch Engage on the road beginning March 20th, crisscrossing the U.S. before finishing May 16th. The 38-city “Music As A Weapon IV” fest marks the group’s first run of North America in almost two years. Feel free to visit www.myspace.com/lacunacoil for all news updates and to view the tour’s itinerary.
Cristina Scabbia (vocals) states: “Shallow Life is a natural metamorphosis from within the band; we explored different musical territories while maintaining our own style. A mix of old and new, fast and slow and light and dark. The album production is incredibly powerful and has a beautiful purity to it. Hopefully listeners will feel the same sort of connection that we have to these songs. It would be great to think that we have produced songs that will make anybody either think, smile or cry. Shallow Life has forced us to challenge ourselves. It represents the way we see ourselves in the days we live in through truth, love and lies.”
Andrea Ferro (male vocals) adds: “We are thrilled to be involved in what will surely be an amazing tour, a great event of rock n' roll culture! We're really happy to get back on the road in the U.S. after a long time. The new songs in the rehearsal room sound awesome and we're looking forward to play some for you. We hope to see you all soon.”
There is no better indication that greatness can be achieved through a resilient work ethic than with LACUNA COIL, whose aggressive touring and extensive critical praise have now poised them for mainstream domination. The group initially left their mark on the hard rock scene in 2004 with their acclaimed album, Comalies, which opened several opportunities for them that were previously thought unattainable for an Italian band, such as two highly successful commercial radio campaigns alongside a breakthrough Ozzfest appearance resulting in over 500,000 copies sold worldwide with over a quarter of a million in the U.S. alone.
